Christmas & Gift List for Teachers

My family is in full swing Christmas mode! When you have a big family, you need to start early to get all of your shopping done on time, especially if you want to slow down and enjoy the weeks leading up to Christmas. While we were working on Christmas lists, I thought that others may like to see some options for teacher gifts. Enjoy and happy shopping!

Papermate Flair Felt Tip Pens- It might seem odd, but teachers are passionate about their pens. And let me tell you: these pens are awesome. Definitely a great gift for any teacher.

Paper Cutter- At this point you probably think I’m crazy but this is an awesome teacher gift! Craft stores sell light-weight, compact cutting boards that are great for teachers who are in a hurry or who have a huge amount to cut and don’t want to take a trip to the community cutter.

Large Rectangular Open Bag- These are wonderful for all the odd and bulky things that teachers carry to and from school!

Patterned Clip Board- A friend gave me a patterned clip-board for a graduation gift and it has been a fun addition to my classroom organization. Grab a few different styles so that the teacher in your life can keep their papers organized on the go.

Supportive Shoes- Dr. Scholl’s is every teacher’s best friend. There are so many stylish and comfy options!

Sanitizer and Lotion- Kids sneeze and cough. A lot. And that constant sanitation can leave you high and dry, especially during the winter. It is always good to have some travel bottles hooked to your backpacks.

Fun First-Aid Kit- This was another awesome gift from a friend. My students love my cute band aids! And the super fun travel case fits into my backpack for our outdoor adventures.
Class Plant- This is an aesthetic and educational gift that the kiddos will also surely enjoy! Just make sure that it won’t blossom any allergens!

TPT Gift Card- Teachers Pay Teachers is a huge helper in my classroom. Gift your teacher with awesome resources and extra time.

Lanyard Pulley- Wearing a lanyard around your neck means sore necks and no necklaces. Grab a lanyard pulley that attaches at the hip and makes for easy access to scanners.

Stationary Kit- We love writing notes to co-workers, parents, and of course, students! Grab a fun stationary kit to make letter writing effortless and enjoyable.

Classroom Scrapbook- Grab or create a pre-made scrapbook that your teacher can add to all year long. This makes for an interactive and craft keepsake that the kids can jump in on. Love this idea? Make it an annual gift!

Magnets- I’m not sure why, but I never have enough of these! Magnets seem to walk out of my classroom. More are always appreciated!

Laminated Sleeves and Markers- For those moments when the teacher can’t run out of the room to make copies.

Seasonal Jackets/Umbrellas/Rain Boots/Mittens/Reusable Hand Warmers- Most teachers wind up outside through all types of weather. Recess and car/bus duties don’t stop for the changing seasons! Make sure that your teacher has outdoor gear for every season. Consider warm gloves that they can also write with in case they need to check off a list! My reusable hand warmers have changed how I feel about afternoon duties!

Watch- Whether it's digital or old school, teachers need to tell the time! And most of the time, we can't use our cellphones so a wrist watch is perfect!
