Kinesthetic and Visual Grammar Practice Resources

Looking for a way to teach grammar to kinesthetic and visual learners? Here is what I do!

For visual learners, I created posters that provide a representation of the grammar terms. This is a great way for students to view the content in a concise way. Not only are the posters great for visual learners, but they also serve as a great reference material. And bonus: They are also colorable!

For kinesthetic learners, I created grammar sorts. Students cut out the terms, definitions, and example cards for each sort. Then, they match them accordingly. I have my students repeat the sorts several times throughout the week. Then, they can glue them into their notebooks along with their grammar poster. I also keep a classroom master set that is color coded and laminated. This allows students to practice all of the sorts which allows for ongoing review and practice. This builds grammar fluency in the classroom!

Grab these colorable posters and hands-on sorts to supplement your grammar instruction and review! 30 sorts + 30 colorable posters that feature 27 intermediate (4th-8th grade) grammar topics are included! 71 pages + answer keys!
